Megan is astounding me today with her insights.  I agree with her 100%. 

Her post also brought up a few questions for me.  Why did Kerry concede so quickly?  It really makes me wonder.  It was so gung ho about winning this election and maybe he could have. 

There were over 200K calls to the voter hotline who reported problems.  Some people were not given provisional ballets in Ohio because counties ran out.  What about these people?  Why not wait the 11 days? 

Is it because the Republicans would be calling Kerry “a sore loser” like they did the TRUE president-elect Al Gore?  Something is fishy.  Why are the results so different from the exit polls? 

Yes, I'm sad about this.  This is crazy.  What is our country thinking????

I made up a list of Pros & Cons, which I might be adding to as the mood strikes me.

PRO

• Wouldn't this be the first he election he “won“?
• He cannot be elected steal the election again!
• We only have 4 more years of high taxes, bills passed that make absolutely no sense, and bills passed underfunded.
• Clinton For President 2008!

Con

• What the hell is this nation thinking?  Seriously?  Do these people have blinders on?
• We have 4 more years.

I think we need to secede.

Does Fox News march to the beat of a different drummer?  Why are they calling Ohio for Bush?  At least 175K provisional/absentee ballots have not been counted and the lead Bush has is only 140K.  Which means we won't find out the outcome of this election for a few more days. 

Then again, Fox News called Florida for Bush in 2000.  Look what happened then. 

YES!  The projected winner for Pennsylvania is KERRY!  New Jersey, the same.  California, not a surprise.  How many celebrities live in CA? 

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Ohio and/or Florida.

I'm working from home today because my little boy just can't stop coughing.  He's doing a little bit better.  He just kicked my butt at Go Fish. 

People really piss me off.  I order stuff online all the time.  My middle name is Amazon, lol.  I ordered stuff like a week ago.  Everyone must know that Amzon is extremely fast.  Evidently I received my packages last week.  Only they are not here. 

Nope, not here.  Stuff I spent MY money on.  I'm really pissed off.  I was told it was put on my desk, but it's not here.  Nope, not here.  Somebody better find my damned box before I start going ghetto.

Home team are doing great again this year.  7 and 0.  I'm so excited.  I wonder how long it can last.  They better take it all the way this year instead of choking:)  Are they unbeatable this year? 

Damn, what happened to the Patriots?  It was a rough week this week.  Vikings got their asses beat as well.  So did the Colts.  Well, the Colts were up in the air.  I did HORRIBLE on my football pool. 

Hopefully next week will be back to normal!!!

Halloween has come and gone.  DJ had a blast.  He went out as the red Power Ranger.  We did a few blocks.  He lasted longer this year than last year.  He didn't really want to come in but I told him he could eat some candy if he got his butt in gear.  Didn't argue any further:)  We did the trick or treat thing for about an hour or so. 

A few funny highlights:

DJ was coming back down the steps from getting candy as Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz was coming up.  I said (to my mom) “Ooooh, look at Dorothy!”  DJ says, “MY NAME IS NOT DOROTHY, IT'S DJ!”  Everyone started laughing! 

There was an adult dressed up as Spiderman.  I pointed it out to DJ because he's a Spidey freak, as most kids are.  He says to me, “Mom, it's just a geek in a costume.” 

Oh boy!
