Find Another Profession!!!! What is this world coming to? Not only is abortion controversial, but now birth control is as well. Excerpt from full article: For a year, Julee Lacey stopped in a CVS pharmacy near her home in a Fort Worth suburb to get refills of her birth-control pills. Then one day last March, the pharmacist refused to fill Lacey's prescription because she did not believe in birth control.What's sad is I didn't realize pharmacists could do this. This just amazes me. We women have it rough. First government does not want us to have abortions, now they're ok'ing that pharmacists can refuse to fill birth control pills. What the hell is wrong with these people? It's none of my pharmacist's business what I'm getting filled. It's your job! If you don't like it, you know where you can shove it:) I should try that. I'll tell my boss that I can't create a database because it's against my religious beliefs. That's how asinine this is. I'm speechless. Dear readers, it goes beyond that as well. What a bunch of malarky! Who Does She Think She Is? I decided yesterday I'm cutting my mother out of my life...for good. I came home from work sick (another story.) My dad received the letter from her lawyer for the divorce. They've been separated for 6+ years. She is suing him for alimony, his pension, the house, court costs and her lawyer fees. WHAT? You have got to be kidding me! I am so pissed off at her right now. We all make about the same. She might make $100 less than I do. How come I can afford $800/month rent, electric, cable, phone, etc and she can't affor $300/month rent. That's right. Her rent is $500 less than mine. She doesn't have a child. All her money is HERS. My dad makes a little less than I do as well. He gives me about 75% of what he makes towards bills and things. With the money he gives me, I am able to do more things for DJ. I want to start the Feingold Diet in January. It's $70+food. His special vitamins are $50/month. That money pays for karate, the gym membership I'm getting for him, soccer when he starts. Now, instead, my greedy mother wants it. She does not contribute a DIME to DJ's care. Nor do I want her to. Now, she's going to take from him. This just really pisses me off. Not to mention it's about one month before Christmas and now my dad has to pay for a lawyer to help him fight this. This effects me because money is now going to be tight and I don't know much I can give towards Christmas. This REALLY SUCKS. Her problem is she has many expenditures. She goes out every weekend and she gets her hair done every month. The hair alone is about $60. It all came out yesterday because she was supposed to drop off some stuff for PIC last night. I called her to tell her not to bother and she is no longer welcome in my house. I've had it. She had the nerve to tell me over and over again this has nothing to do with me. Then she emails me the same thing. I'm in the midst of emailing her back now to tell her exactly what I think of her greedy ass. I told her to get another job! Noone is put on this earth to support her!!!! This is not the '50s and she is NOT June Cleaver. You want to be high maintenance, work for it. No, instead she wants me to freaking support...which is what it's all going to boil down to. How DARE she jeopardize my son's future!!! Shame on her!!!! Monday, November 08, 2004
HotJobs It's about that time! I'm so damned fed up here. I've been waiting for a raise/promotion for at least 2 years. Have received one? Crazy Weekends I had so much homework this week. I'm still not finished, but almost done!!! This semester I'm taking Math for Business & Finance and American Government. Neither of the classes are hard, so far. It's just alot of work!!! The math class is driving me nuts because I have these problems I have to solve and I have to include how I came about the answer to the problem. They are all online classes so how do multiply fractions in Word and do all the crossouts and things like that? I know it can be done, but it would take me forever to do. I can use a calculator but I need to show the keys I used to arrive at my answer. That seems like the best bet to me! I went out and picked up a financial calculator but now I need to learn how to use it! I know how to solve all these problems using Excel, Access - things like that. That's not an option though. PIC is moving in next weekend. She did get the apartment next to mine, so you know there are going to be fun times ahead. Friday and Saturday we went out shopping for some things. Man, that girl can spend money. I thought I was bad:) I think she's coming up today. I don't know if we are going to be doing more things today but I do need to finish up my homework sometime today. DJ and I went out last night and picked up Shrek 2. We did see it at the movies but it was really cute. Of course the rental stores were all out of it. I wound with a really good deal. The dvd AND cd for $20. It's on sale at Walmart for all you parents out there...go grab it!!! Friday, November 05, 2004
What Month Is This? Would you believe PIC called me on the phone tonight and told me to turn on a particular station on the radio. I did. Christmas music. All night long. It's been a crazy week. Bush is back in office and Christmas music is playing on the radio! A Special Little Boy A Special Little Boy by Kristen Beatty I'm a little boy different from the rest. I'm cute as a button, and smart as a fox. I love my trains and know dinosaur names. But, I get upset when little things change. I like to build pits and repeat video clips. Some teachers adore me, some teachers ignore me. I'm good at computers, and drawing, and science, but When I get stressed some think that I'm violent. My Words Through Someone Else Megan is astounding me today with her insights. I agree with her 100%. Her post also brought up a few questions for me. Why did Kerry concede so quickly? It really makes me wonder. It was so gung ho about winning this election and maybe he could have. There were over 200K calls to the voter hotline who reported problems. Some people were not given provisional ballets in Ohio because counties ran out. What about these people? Why not wait the 11 days? Is it because the Republicans would be calling Kerry “a sore loser” like they did the TRUE president-elect Al Gore? Something is fishy. Why are the results so different from the exit polls? Kerry Concedes Defeat Yes, I'm sad about this. This is crazy. What is our country thinking???? I made up a list of Pros & Cons, which I might be adding to as the mood strikes me. PRO

I think we need to secede. Fox News Predicts Ohio For Bush Does Fox News march to the beat of a different drummer? Why are they calling Ohio for Bush? At least 175K provisional/absentee ballots have not been counted and the lead Bush has is only 140K. Which means we won't find out the outcome of this election for a few more days. Then again, Fox News called Florida for Bush in 2000. Look what happened then.
